Catching Up

It has been a while since I have blogged and I really want to do whenever I have something to blog about but I don't always feel like it so this post is really just some catching up on things that we have been doing.

Well we haven't really done much, we have just been really busy with basball with both Madison and Zach and alot of the time Larry and I find ourselves going to two places because Zach has a game not at the same place Madison does so we split up to watch the kids. I can't imagine what will happen when Carson gets into sports. So this was life basically for the month of May.

Madison at one of her games.

Getting ready for the game to begin
Up to bat

Larry wasn't able to make it to this game and so both boys came with me and alot of the time while Madison is playing her games the boys get bored and so this is how they end up entertaining themselves. They are playing a game on my phone.

On May 7th it was Zach's birthday, we made him his favorite breakfast which is waffles and they he got to open a few presents. Madison had a game that day as well later in the day so we just kind of hung out at home. Zach got a Wii game and a ds game. It was so hard to get him a gift this year all he wanted was wii games and ds games and I really didn't want to get him those but I didn't know what else to get. This is usually the age where I have hard in general getting the kids things because they aren't really into the kid toys and they aren't quite old enough for older toys.

After Madison's game we went to Red Robin (zach's choice) with my sister Carlee and her husband and thier three kids and my dad. The kids love to go there for thier birthday's because they sing to you and they did sing to Zach and brough him a sunday as well. So here are some pictures of that day.

Adeline (Carlee's second oldest)

Heather (Carlee's oldest)

Carson drinking his water waiting for his food.

Kenzie (Carlee's youngest 5months) this was her first time having a red robin fry.

Kenzie not quite sure about the fry

The birthday boy with his sunday.

On the 11th of June Zach had his school concert and unfortunately I only have two picture of it because my camera wasn't cooperating or maybe I just need to play with my camera more ,even though I have had for a year, anyway I couldn't get a good shot of him and these two are the only two I could get. He had his own part that he said as well it was so cute I wish that I had gotten in on video.

Zach after the concert because I never got one before the concert

These next pictures are just random pictures that I took of the kids and such.

This one we had been gone all day and then it started to rain but the kids wanted to go outside and play anyway and so they did. Larry and I sat on the front porch and watched them. They were having a great time.

Zach taking a break to let me take a picture.

So if anyone didn't know we got a dog. She is a boxer and the best part is that she was free. The lady had lost her job and couldn't afford to take care of her even though she had like four other boxers. She is such a great dog and she is so patient with the kids, especially Carson, who can hang on her all the time. Larry found her in the paper and he has been wanting a dog and I was a little hesitant about it but we went anyway because Larry really wanted to and I thought that is would be good for the kids and when we went and looked at her she imediately started licking each one of us. She loves to be right in your face and lick you anytime she gets a chance. It has been good for me as well because I go out and walk with her and she loves it. She has been really great for our family. So everyone meet Missy. I would have changed her name but that is the name that they called her and I didn't want to change it.

She is watching the kids play out in the rain.

One day the kids were getting ready to leave for school and I noticed that each one of them put on a super hero shirt. None of it was planned either. So I had to get a picture of it.

Carson-superman, Madison-wonder woman, Zach-batman then when Larry got home he put on his superman shirt not realizing that the kids all had super here shirts on as well. I am the only one that doesn't have one I might have to look into getting one if I can find one.

Last thing is I went and re-painted the boys room and re-organized it. Thanks to my good friend Aunna she helped me pick out the color of the boys room and helped me decide how the room should go.

This is before I painted and also before I put the bunkbeds together if you remember the beds were apart and so it looked alot more crouded. The color in this picture is a light blue and the boys each had a super hero covers and such.

Another before picture. I should have taken a before picture of the bunkbeds apart because it is actually really different.

Ta da, this is an after picture of the room with the curtains shut. There used to be greet curtains and then I got navy blue. The color on the walls is actually a beige color. I think it looks better in person.

The curtains are open on these ones and missy had to be in shot as well I guess.

I got new bedding from potterybarn that was on sale and I thought about getting two different kinds but I decided not to do that and that they could have the same bedding.

I should have used the flash on this one because it was actually quite bright outside but it looks dark in the room.

This is the bedding.

I will try to do better on my blogging but I can't promise anything.

Three

Today Carson turned 3. I can not believe that he is three already, I am torn because I am glad that he is turning three and growing up but I also kind of miss him being a baby when he couldn't talk back to me and was a little sweeter. Carson is a great little boy, when he wants to be, and loves both his mom and his dad. We are excited because Carson is almost potty trained. Well I would say that he was but he still has some accidents. He hasn't been wearing a diaper for almost two months now and it is so nice.

We didn't do much today, I went to work and he went over to Carlee's and then I came home and after the kids got home we went to build a bear and he got to pick out a bear. It was his first time doing a build a bear so he didn't really want to do alot of what makes it so much fun but that is o.k he was excited anyway. We came home and had taco's because that is what he wanted for dinner and then we opened just a couple of presents and had a cake. Like I said it wasn't much but he only three and we had kind of a big party last year and let's just face it we can't always have a big party for all of your kids. So here are a few pictures of what we did today.

Carson picked out his bear, it was a camo bear so therefore we named him Camo.

He wasn't quite sure what was going to happen here and it is when they go and stuff the bear
He didn't want to step on the peddle to stuff the bear but here you can see that he is watching and trying to take a picture.

He gave his bear a hug and said it was good.

We are all done. I didn't let him dress the bear because lets face it they clothes don't ever stay on and it just isn't worth it to me.

This is what he looks like when he forces a smile and really doesn't want to get his picture taken.

Here he is just being cute.

He got some bakugans.

And a airplane of some sorts.

Here is the cake I got him.

Getting ready to blow out the candles.

I was trying to get a good picture of him and he just didn't want to take anymore pictures.

I wanted a picture of all the kids but at this point Carson was totally done and didn't want to do any pictures at all. He said to "no picture".

He finally got his cupcake.

Happy Birthday Carson.
