More Hawaii

More Hawaii

Well I still had some more Hawaii pictures to share. The pictures at the end with a group of people are all friends of ours and we all used to work together at the Bellingham grocery Outlet. I started working there when I was 16 and worked with all of those people. The owners of the Bellingham Grocery Outlet is the tall guys with the facial hair his wife is right in front of wearing white( I think she is in pants not a dress) anyway they own that one and the funny thing is that all of us met our spouses at the bellingham grocery outlet and married them so it is always fun to get together at the mettings and hang out we had such a great time working together there. I hope you like the pictures because I don't like the picture of me in there I don't look as nice as the others do. Enjoy! sorry I had to post the slide show again on another post I don't know how to do it all in one post.

Hawaii

So I finally got the slide show working for my pictures from Hawaii, thanks to Anna for helping me do a slide show. Anyway for those of you who didn't know Larry and I went to Hawaii a couple of weeks ago and we took Madison and Zach, we left Carson at home with my mom. We had a great time. We really didn't do much we just kind of stayed that the hotel and went swimming most of the time. Larry got to golfing with friends which he enjoyed and then we actually went to Haunama Bay(I do not know how to spell it so sorry)and did some snorkeling which was fun. We went to the flea market and shpped around there and from there we went to the Dole Pineapple plantation and saw where we they grow the pinapple and then after our tour we had pinapple icecream which was so yummy. Then we went to the north shore beach and played in the waves for a bit and then went back to hotel and did more swimming. One night we went to the international market and we went to the pearl factory and Madison got to pick an oyster and then they opened it and you get to have that pearl. Madison picked a blue pearl. It really wasn't blue it is more like a sliver but apparently they call it a blue pearl. Madison was the only person who picked the blue pearl, it was very exciting for her, we got it set into a necklace for her and because she got the blue pearl she got to pick out 2 more oysters for free and she actually picked some really big ones. Anyway when you pick an oyster you have to say a chant before you open it. You have to tap it 3 times before you open it and then yell ALOHA. The kids loved it. So now Madison has her own pearl and she is so excited about it. All in all we had a great time and it was nice to just relax and not worry about anything. At the end of the trip Madison asked if we could move there, and of course I told her that we could not. Anyway I hope that you guys enjoy the pictures below. I had to separate the post because for some reason it wouldn't let me do it all in one. Enjoy

Carson Mowing the Lawn

During the evenings when Carson is getting tired but is not ready for bed he just wants to be entertained, so one day I was trying to get dinner dishes done and Carson was being fussy because no one was playing with him or anything, soLarry said that he was going to go mowe the lawn and he asked me where the baby bjorn was and I didn't think that he was serious, but he was, so I just had to take a picture of him mowing the lawn with Carson. Carson of course just loved it.

First Day of School

The happy second grader

She is just the cutest

My big preschooler

I am so glad they love each other.

On Wednesday was the kids first day of school and they were so excited. Madison is now in second grade and Zach is in his second year of preschool. Madison loves her teacher and we actually found out that her teacher graduated from Western the same time Larry did with the same major, that is just weird to me. Anyway Madison really likes her is loving it so far. Today she was so excited because her teacher gave everyone gum because they were doing some kind of Math thing. That is the most that I got out of her for school. For some reason she when I ask her what she did at school she tells me that she forgot but when larry asks her she tells him everything that happened. What is with that.

Zach was so excited to go to school today as well. I got the picture of him before school and when we got to his school I couldn't get a picture of him because he just got out of the car and ran and saw his teacher and hugged her and told her that he had missed her. His teacher is the best the kids love her. I wish that Carson would be able to have her but unfortunately this is her last year. Anyway Zach was so excited her went right into his class and picked up basically where he left off at from last year. So here are some pictures of the kids on there first day of school.

Seattle Aquarium

On Saturday we went to the seattle aquarium and had a lot of fun. We got to see the fish and all that fun stuff the kids really enjoyed themselves.

4 months

Well Carson is now 4months old. He is the most challanging babies of my kids. Today he had to have 4 shots and he cried the whole rest of the day. He now weighs in at 16lbs 13oz and is 26 1/2 inches long. He is a big boy. The doctor also told us today that he is cutting teeth. I am not looking forward to that at all. He has not yet rolled over and really doesn't seem interested in rolling over as for right now. You can't leave him in a room by himself or else he will get upset (does that sound like any other baby we know Colleen:) Anyway regarless of all that he has the greatest smile and he loves to talk to you and play. I am looking forward to him though when he is more mobile maybe he will be happier. I know I am going to regret it later.
